Everything Everywhere All at Once

Starring Michelle Yeoh as a Chinese-American woman being audited by the Internal Revenue Service who discovers that she must connect with parallel universe versions of herself to prevent a powerful being from causing the destruction of the multiverse. It’s a martial arts film. No, it’s a sci-fi. Actually, it’s more like an action movie. Hang on, now it’s an animation. No wonder The New York Times’ breathless review of Everything Everywhere All at Once praised this movie as “messy and glorious…a swirl of genre anarchy”.
