The Search for Planet B…Continued with Dr Larissa Palethorpe
Join Dr Larissa Palethorpe for an update on the search for planets beyond our Solar System.
This talk explores how astronomers detect and study exoplanets, highlights some of the most intriguing Earth-like candidates discovered so far, and examines the myths, rumours, and conspiracy theories that often surround these distant worlds.
By looking at both the science and the speculation, we’ll consider what we really know about these planets – and whether the idea of a true “Planet B” is grounded in reality or imagination.
