Join us on 12th August as the solar eclipse will take over the planetarium! 🌙

All afternoon tickets, including exhibition only tickets, will give visitors access to the solar telescope which will be set up outside the planetarium – we will also have a limited number of eclipse glasses that visitors can use.

3pm – ‘Songs of Stars’ Musical Workshop
4pm & 5pm – Eclipse themed special talks, followed by a 360 immersive film
6pm – Eclipse evening event in the dome [SOLD OUT]
6:08pm – First contact of the moon with the sun, as viewed from Kirkcudbright
7:08pm – Peak partial eclipse, as viewed from Kirkcudbright
